A lot is being written about resolutions since it is a New Year. Rather than looking at a year long resolution, I intend to try for smaller chunks of time in hope of continuing to work at change. There will probably be some back sliding as change is difficult. If I can make it through the first six weeks that will be the time that studies state I am more likely to have achieved the change.
For today, I walked at a fast clip with my dog since he found a ball and wanted to get home quickly to play with it. I will also use a DVD to exercise and not eat any sugar.
Giving up desserts isn't difficult for me. The cheese is a problem. I will look for low fat versions. There are always choices.
