It is difficult to have hope sometimes when there is so much violence in the world. As the New Year approaches I try to remain optimistic as I truly believe that one person can make a difference. Perhaps that is why I have decided to begin a blog. Even if I am the only person who reads it, there may be one other person who is looking for a connection.
We are all human beings searching for love in this world. Some of us are lucky to have that love bestowed on us abundantly from our first breath or maybe even in the womb. Others struggle to find a person who loves them just for themselves and not what they can give the other and may never find it in this lifetime.
I am choosing to try to trust, reach out and make myself vulnerable in the future. Who knows what may come from this? I leap. Hello 2011.
